Fun at Mt Vernon Harvest Days

Taryn and I headed over to Harvest Days on Saturday. I have a season pass this year and Taryn is free till she is six. Harvest days is fun, cuz they do a ton more hands on. It is so fun to have little mom and daughter dates. We try to do go once a month. Taryn got to play games, make corn dolls, learned about making thread, and helped make cornmeal. I love to go to Mt. Vernon, it is so nice to just live around the corner and go for a few hours. We also ran into out friends the Deskins, who we haven't seen forever. It is so nice to reconnect.
