Funny things

Taryn is now in 1st grade. While sitting at the dinner table eating dinner one night, I asked about her boy friend down the street and she replied, "Oh we had the talk". I asked what talk. She replies. "the relationship talk, we are working it out right now" I asked what is the relationship talk, and she said, "you know, he likes hip hop, I like rock, he likes guns, I like barbies. It is just not going to work out" When I was so glad she was able to work it out, cuz all summer long she was asking if it is okay to have a non-mormon boyfriend.

I have to say, I was laughing inside, but I wanted to make sure she would not see me, cuz the last time I made fun a relationship at the young age was my brother, when he was in kindergarden. Well, it was my sister and I. I blame myself that is why he was not open with us about girls growing up. (hahaha) So then Taryn said, "I still need to have the talk with Daniel." (what another boy). But I just checked with her and they have worked there relationship out also. (so funny)

Here is the kicker. She is now in a class of 17 boys and the rest are girls totaling the class to 24. So, I predict a lot of relationship talks this year..
