Crafting in January

So, I would like to blame this on all my friends who have cool links to crafty websites.

For the longest time I wanted to find a tropical print that would go well with the Kitchen. I asked my sewing friends and family how to make a rug and a cover for padding for a bench.

Oh then in Dec I had the internet buying bug. I blame that on the cold weather. So I ordered fabric and went to Joann's and bought a 1 inch pad oh and a zipper. This is the results.

So then I had left overs and my goal I have for myself this year is use my scraps of fabric. So I went and bought a little slip guard for the bottom. Read on the internet how to make a kitchen Mat. This is What happen.......

Now I'm done with that I decided to make little vinyl lined bags for the kids snacks. So I have made 2 and it is a work in progress. I have not prefect the art yet. So I will let you know when I do with a picture.
