The signs of a true homemaker.
Okay I totally know I love to be crafty, I love to cook and I love being a Mom. But I did something I told myself I would never do. I made baby food. Yes I made baby food. We got 45 peaches for $10. What was I to do with 45 peaches. We still had can peaches left over from last year. Taryn is on a "I hate peaches month", so that left just Dan and I to eat them, so I took seven peaches, puree them and came out with 11 jars of baby food. SO if you break it down it comes out to cost me $0.12 a jar. That is a great saving. Oh lets talk about savings. I bought 4 boxes of cherrios for a total of $0.89. Thanks to Giant for doubling my coupons even though it said do not double coupon on the coupons.
Okay, in September we can get a large quantity of apples. Do I do it? I have made apple sauce before? hmmmmmm, good think I have a month to think about it.
I do like to sew, tomorrow I'm headed to the sewing machine to make a dress for Taryn out of a mens shirt. Wow I'm getting to resourceful. (not really I bought the shirts at the thrifty store for $7.) So if the dresses come out cute, I will take a picture and post them.

Very impressive Sharon!! Can't wait to see your dress.
By the way, love the pics of Meg!!
Hurray for homemade baby food! I say go for it on the apples. I'll split them with you if you want.
I am seriously impressed!
Wow, Sharon that's awesome! When do you find time to do all these activities? My boys keep me so busy that I barely have time to do laundry much less make clothes.
