I was watching the Russian News this weekend. (we no longer have cable so interesting things are watched now in our house) The Lady talked about this jail break that happened in Athens, Greece. A Helicopter flew over then jail and let down a ladder. Two inmates climbed the ladder and got into the Helicopter, while jail guards were firing from the ground with their Guns. As I watched this I thought this could never happen in america. Oh and by the way this is the the second time that this jail break has happened. I'm so blessed to live in America and not Greece. (If you know me I'm not one to travel out of the country.) Good reason why I don't want to go to Greece.

Wow. That sounds like a movie scene, not news coverage.
I'll tell you what, the most interesting things show up on international news! I used to travel outside the US quite a bit, and I always found the news in other countries fascinating. (except when it was like in german and had no subtitles)
We just got rid of cable, too. I wouldn't consider myself a tv addict or anything, but I think I'm gonna miss some of those channels.
